The 12th Scancypaa convention was originally meant to be arranged at HIlton Kalastajatorpaa, but after difficulties, the convention will be held at Rudolf Steiner school in Ruskeasuo, Helsinki. The school is little and pretty, and will for sure bring up some memories for some of us. The school has a big lobby, a small café, several classrooms for our use and a bigger hall from the main meeting. The venue may not be accessible, when one is attending the meetings - there are some stairs to get in to the classrooms.
Ruskeasuo area is calm residental area, and it takes approx. 20 minutes to arrive from city center. It is next to the Helsinki central park, where you can find forest or horse stables.
The best way to arrive to the school is to take tram no 10, or bus no 40, 200, or 300. Get off at stop Tilkka, and walk for 5-10 minutes. More information about the public transportation available at hsl.fi
